“Come on!!” Trott complains, impatient and fiddling with a loose button on the cuff of his coat. His left foot taps restlessly, the wellington boots on his feet making a strange sound like flexing cardboard around his shin - too loose on his legs. As usual he is the first one actually ready to go; Ross and Smith nowhere in sight.
