Bare feet padding on the training mat, muggle t-shirt tight across his chest, he reaches up to pull at the leather strap keeping his wand tight to his lower stomach where it is digging into his shoulder. His wand isn’t in its sling; instead twirling around Trott’s fingers like an enchanted compass needle.
